It was about a year ago that the shape of this yard slowly began to emerge from an open patch of land.
Guided by the sea that stretches before us, and the soft breeze from Yambaru Forest in northern Okinawa, this place has grown gently, over time.

Structures rose.
Island plants began to stretch skyward.
And we stood by, quietly watching it all unfold.

To those who supported us even before we opened
And to all of you who have spent meaningful moments in this yard

Gathering around the table for lively meals.
Laughing together by the pool.
Savoring quiet mornings with a cup of coffee.

Each gaze, each gentle moment, has helped this yard grow.
As we mark this one-year milestone, we do so with deep gratitude in our hearts.

This yard holds light, greenery, water, and sky.
It carries the quiet rhythm of everyday life on Kouri Island itself.

This is a place to stay slowly, freely.
To release the rhythm of everyday life.
To take a deep breath.
